Help may be opened in a variety of ways. Many of which are found under the Help button in the main menu.
You can get help on a particular script by running that script and choosing Help * Subject from the main menu. Also, help can be accessed by pressing F1 when the mouse is highlighting a menu selection.
This will give you help on some broad subjects.
The online manual allows you to search for a topic and get a list of functions that are associated to that topic.
The help window is contained between the graphics window and the right edge of the Synergy window. When it is closed it is seen as a thick bar on the right edge of the screen. You can activate help by grabbing that bar and stretching it to the left.
Synergy’s innovative help system now has hyperlinks. These links will allow you to go to the help for a script or view the script itself.
Many of the menus have help associated with them. Some of these will have direct links to the scripts contained in those menus.
When viewing help for a script there is an option to view the script. This is useful for developing your own scripts.
The help for many functions has been enhanced by the addition of graphics. Pictures accompany the text to allow for a more detailed analysis of the help for a particular function.
